Internships

All majors in the College of Business offer internship opportunities. In addition, departments in the college provide an internship coordinator that works with students and employers to ensure that the internship experience is meaningful.

Each year more than 300 business students participate in internship and professional practice programs with business and government to gain practical work experience related to their academic career goals.

Two options for internships: If you don’t need academic credit, then there is no “academic oversight.” If you are interested in academic credit, meet with your academic advisor to see how the internship credit will count toward graduation (Marketing elective? General university elective?).

Then complete the internship packet, being sure to get all signatures, and work with your Internship Coordinator (either Dr. Hunter or Dr. Ishida, depending on your last name. Dr. Hunter for A-L).

Internship Packets

Depending on your internship program, a form is required to register for an internship.
