The Redbird Career Portfolio (RCP) is a certificate program designed to make you the kind of crisp, savvy professional that employers are dying to hire. You will participate in an integrated set of professional learning activities beginning freshman year and continuing through graduation. When you complete a level, you will receive a certificate acknowledging your accomplishment. Complete all four levels and you will receive the full certificate of professionalism to show potential employers.

Is this Redbird Career Portfolio Program Required?

No, is not required by the College of Business. The program is a way for students to set themselves apart by becoming active on campus, and to show that they have an interest in personal development.

What activities are included in the Redbird Career Portfolio?

There are four levels in the Redbird Career Portfolio (RCP). Each level includes multiple activities that vary from year to year. Activities may include videos, in-person events, educational material, interactions, and written reflections. This brochure has a list of Redbird Career Portfolio (RCP) activities.

What if a student doesn't complete all of the achievements?

We do our best to make sure students have an opportunity to complete all their RCP activities The goal is to continue to move up to Level 4.

Suitable is a online software platform that the Redbird Career Portfolio (RCP) uses to help you navigate through the Redbird Career Portfolio

Can students participate if they do not want to complete all of the achievements?

Of course you can. Students are encouraged to participate in as many activities as they’d like. You can work through the levels however you like.
