Biography

Dr. Niharika Dayyala is an Associate Professor at Illinois State University. She earned her Ph.D. in Business Administration with a specialization in Information Systems from The University of Texas at El Paso.

Her teaching interests encompass data analytics, database management, information systems security, business application programming, and statistics. Her research focuses on the diffusion of technologies, software development, software project management, and applications of big data analytics.

Dr. Dayyala's scholarly work has been featured in prominent journals, including the Information Resources Management Journal, International Journal of Accounting & Information Management, Journal of Information Privacy and Security, and the International Journal of Information Technologies and Systems Approach. She is also the author of the book Machine Learning in Transportation Engineering, published by De Gruyter.

Before transitioning to academia, Dr. Dayyala served as a Senior Analyst in software development at Dell International Services Pvt. Ltd., where she contributed to several data warehouse projects.
